As most know, I’ve been researching my Italian roots. Part of that research has involved learning to read, write and speak Italian.
I know that when past generations immigrated here to America, they wanted to BE American. They were proud of their new country, and wanted to make sure that their children were completely integrated with all that is America.
While I completely agree and would like to see the current wave of immigrants join in that philosophy, I’m pissed I now have to pay to learn the 3 Rs in Italian.
Vita senza limiti translates to Life without limits.
As of November 5, 2009, I became a citizen of Italy and the European Union!
