Dear Claudio

My name is Mikki, and I am your cousin!

My grandfather was Angelo Criscione, your grandfather Giovanni’s younger brother. Angelo immigrated to the United States when he was young. He settled in the town of Bridgeport, in the state of Connecticut, which is near New York.

He married Rose, my grandmother and had 4 children, Mildred, Joseph, Teresa and Angelo. Sadly, he died when he was only 51 and before I was born. I never got to meet him. I only have pictures and some stories of him.

I am 44 years old, born October 18th, 1962. I am now living in the town of Long Beach, in the state of California. I have a sister, Johna, who lives with our mother, Teresa, in Connecticut. She has two sons, Trevor who is 9 and Seth who is 7.

I am learning how to speak, write and read in Italian, but I am only a beginner! I hope my Italian makes sense to you!

Mikki
